Amtrak trains are modern and spacious, with large picture windows, airconditioning, conveniently located rest rooms and fine-dining on many long-distance and overnight services. Take some time out in the Lounge Car or visit the Cafe Car for snacks, sweets and sandwiches.

COACH CLASS
Amtrak offers economical Coach Class features, including panoramic views of the countryside from reclining seats with fold down tray tables and overhead individual reading lights. Many long-distance Coach seats are extra-spacious and include leg rests.
BUSINESS CLASS
Business Class offers travellers the ability to actually work or not work aboard the train, with reserved seating with extra leg room and at seat outlets for laptops. As a Business Class passenger you will have easy access to the Café Car and Railfone onboard telephone service. Amenities offered in Business Class vary by route.
FIRST CLASS
Amtrak’s First Class is available on The Metroliner® and on the Acela Express®, where you will receive deluxe seating in a reserved car, at-seat service featuring complimentary meals and beverages, newspaper and special touches like mints and hot towels. First Class passengers also enjoy use of Amtrak’s Metropolitan Lounges in select cities.
ON ARRIVAL AT THE STATION
On most medium and long-distance trains, Amtrak has “checked baggage” service. Check-in for all trains is no later than 30 minutes prior. This may be extended if you need to check baggage or need to collect your sector ticket. At most major stations, there is a free Red Cap Service.
