This self drive Canada itinerary takes you through the beautiful scenery and sights of Ontario and Quebec. Starting in Toronto take in the highlights of Toronto, Kingston, Montreal, Quebec City, Ottawa, Huntsville and Niagara Falls.

♦ DAY 1: ARRIVE TORONTO: arrive in Toronto, collect your rental car and transfer to your hotel. Collect your personalised Canada Roadbook at check-in. Overnight: Toronto

♦ DAY 2: TORONTO: Enjoy the entire day exploring Toronto, Canada’s largest city. Overnight: Toronto

♦ DAY 3: TORONTO – KINGSTON (260 KMS): Drive east to historic Kingston, nestled where the Rideau Canal and St. Lawrence River meet Lake Ontario.  Overnight: Kingston

   

♦ DAY 4: KINGSTON – MONTREAL (290 KMS): En route to Montreal enter the beautiful 1000 Islands region. Enjoy a sightseeing cruise of this wonderfully lush island landscape.  Overnight: Montreal

♦ DAY 5: MONTREAL: Full day to explore cosmopolitan Montreal, the second largest French speaking city in the world. Overnight: Montreal

♦ DAY 6: MONTREAL – QUEBEC CITY (250 KMS): En route to Quebec City stop at Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Canada’s national shrine to the virgin Mary. Also of interest in Trois-Rivieres is the Museum of Quebec Folk arts and Traditions. Overnight: Quebec City

♦ DAY 7: QUEBEC CITY: Quebec City is Canada’s oldest city and exhibits a strong French heritage. Full day to explore the many historical attractions or visit Montmorency Falls. Overnight: Quebec City

♦ DAY 8: QUEBEC CITY – OTTAWA (460 KMS): Follow the shores of the St Lawrence & Ottawa Rivers to Ottawa, the nation’s capital. Overnight: Ottawa

♦ DAY 9: OTTAWA: Use the entire day to explore this historic city. visit the Parliament Buildings, museums or national Gallery, take a tour of the Royal Canadian Mint or a cruise on the Rideau Canal. Overnight: Ottawa

♦ DAY 10: OTTAWA – HUNTSVILLE (350 KMS): Enjoy a scenic drive to Algonquin Provincial Park and the beautiful Muskoka region. Overnight: Huntsville area

♦ DAY 11: HUNTSVILLE: The Huntsville area boasts numerous picturesque lakes and offers boat cruises and hiking trails. Overnight: Huntsville area

♦ DAY 12: HUNTSVILLE – NIAGARA FALLS (330 KMS): Drive south to Niagara Falls, the “honeymoon capital of the world”. Pass through the hills of the Niagara Escarpment, then through the lush orchards and vineyards of the Niagara growing region. Overnight: Niagara Falls

♦ DAY 13: NIAGARA FALLS – TORONTO (130 KMS): Return to Toronto through Ontario’s fruit growing region. En route, visit historic Niagara-on-the-Lake. Your tour ends after return of your rental car.
